We are back for season three!  

Yes, I know, I have been horrible the last few months with updating the blog, but life just get's in the way sometimes. 

Look for weekly updates on the podcasts and more starting this week. 

So to kick off Season three of TDB podcast we interviewed Marvlec, an alternative rock band out of Florida.  Good bunch of kids with a kick ass sound that in my opinion have a chance of making it to the big stage.  We pulled off two prank calls and as always randomness was everywhere.  Including the introduction of our Pubic Minion, Britney.

So last nights show went off pretty damn good.  And we've now added a little punishment for anyone that fucks up during the show thanks to one random night of the crew bullshitting on skype. 

SPONTANEOUS KARAOKE!!!!!!!! 

Everyone seems to enjoy the bit, so it's now part of the show standard.  Along with the Geek singing the lounge version of "get down with the sickness" by Disturbed.  He does it so well that we have to keep it going.

Other than that the lovely Cara finished out teaser trailer for the next American Zombie Summit.   And things are moving along for the show to be on multiple streaming sources such as iTunes, TuneIn radio, Podbean, Podomatic, Ustream, etc.  I'm going to put this show anywhere and everywhere that I can.   

Not only do we have a blast doing what we do, or that we help to spread the word for the "starving artists" out there that have a shit load of talent but very limited ways of promoting themselves.   Plus the crew finds information and articles on topics that people should really know about.    If it weren't for Cara I wouldn't have know that the Arms Trade Treaty had a chance of taking away my right to bear arms, or the Geeks find that on a Verizon data plan, once you go to a 4G phone, your unlimited data plan will no longer exist. 

So I see it as we are providing a good service to the listening community along with making you piss yourself from laughing so hard. 

Anyways, long over due, here's the good shit!!!

The studio is progressing well and we are on schedule for our first show of season 2 this Friday.  Those of you out there that would like airplay shoot us a few tracks.

Other than going back on the air the best news of all is that we are planning the next "American Zombie Summit" for July 27th.  We will have guests Josh Cook from Zombie A.C.R.E.S., The Madore brothers of Necropology.com, and The Zombie Response Team to discuss the recent Zombies in the news, updates on "Heartland", and much more.

ZKOTP Training stands for (Zombie Killing Operative Training Program) and here's a little blurb from their site.

Zombie Killing Operative Training Program (ZKOTP) was designed to take an active approach to the zombie apocalypse. How many times have you seen people preparing to survive? Holding out in a bug out area, which could be a basement, shelter or mall? ZKOTP creates operatives that are trained to take out thousands of zombies to help the area become stable. Once the area is stable, the survivors in that area can then live a somewhat normal life and not live a hermit lifestyle.

The overview presented here is an outline of the formation, structure and training of Secret Government Project titled ZKO – Zombie Killing Operative.

ZKO was officially formed on 09 April 2012, to locate, identity and eliminate any and all Class 2 or Class 3 Zombie Outbreaks by any means both covert and direct action. Due to the ever-increasing threat of Zombies in the USA and aboard, the President of the United States of America has authorized Project ZKO to be formed and receive budgeting and oversight from a classified agency of the Department of Homeland Security.

ZKOs were formed into two different types of units.

1.Covert Action Units (CAU) – A Covert Action Unit consists of three members. These members are highly trained covert agents that under take missions to obtain information using visual observation or other detection methods. The unit mission is to reveal activities and locations of hordes of Zombies and the possible locations of Class 2 or Class 3 Outbreaks.

2.Direct Action Units (DAU) – A Direct Action Unit combines four CAUs into a 12-person DAU tasked to conduct short-duration strikes and other offensive actions conducted as a special operation in hostile, infected environments against identified hordes of Zombies. The primary mission is to destroy these large amounts of Zombies and to clear out areas to allow humans to repopulate.

Now in addition to the cool ass zombie training, these guys run a full on combat training facility for members of law enforcement, military, EMS, etc..  Called the Combat Hard Training Center.

I had this interesting meeting while at the local Walmart.  I went with a friend to haul some patio furniture for him.  When I went back to the parking lot to get the truck, two of the cart pushers got my attention and wanted to talk to me.  I moved the truck over by the garden center and they helped load the patio set and one of the guys started to ask me a question.  He had this worried look on his face and was serious when he spoke. He was worried that with all of the stories in the news about the Zombie in Miami and the others up north that something had happened in our area thanks to the Zombie Response Team decals on my truck.   

The dude was seriously worried that real zombies were going to start popping up as the Apocalypse began.  Me and my buddy told him that if it weren't for the idiots taking all of these home cooked drugs that were fucking up their minds we wouldn't be having a problem.  I don't know that we actually eased his mind, but we tried....
